I thought Ondřej Kaše played pretty fantastic although he didn't factor on the boxscore he looked super effective!

Giraffe probably played his best game ever in a Leafs uniform. Here's hoping he can continue to play at that pace and with that level of skill.

Jack made some key saves when needed and looked very solid. Looking forward to a goaltending duel between him Mrázek.

Also: Nylander looks like he's continuing where he left off in the playoffs and has kicked his game into high gear. Love the experimentation of him on the PK and seeing him evolve as a player.

Great post Mike!
I think and this is coming from the perspective of a coach and scout you need to mention Kase's and Holl's efforts in the game. Both of them were smart fierce and successful. Kase probably had 13 shots on goal and about 8 hits. His hustle got plays going and stopped MTL going the other way.
Holl's effort on the PK was very noticeable and he was perfectly invisible 5 on 5 doing the little things right.

The battles to the front of the net was such a breath of fresh air.
However the Leafs PowerPlay needs an update. MTL were all over those back passes to start the rush.
